We know what these sites demand

Why Ironlink Workforce

Trade knowledge behind every placement

Mining clients do not need names from a database. They need people who can step onto site, understand the scope and perform safely under pressure. Ironlink focuses on verified trades with the tickets, attitude and site experience required for real mining work.

Trades supplied to a verified standard

Every worker is checked for tickets, experience, attitude and site readiness before we put them forward.

Verified before mobilisation

Assessed, ticketed and compliant

A workforce held to a verified standard

Reliability is the first filter. We check trade background, tickets, references and recent site performance before anyone is recommended. If the standard is not right, we do not send them.

We check references, confirm tickets and verify recent site performance before anyone enters our network.

Reference checked and competency verified

Every tradesperson verified

Fast mobilisation with compliance under control

Shutdown windows are short, and missed labour hurts the whole plan. We maintain a ready network of compliant trades so crews can be sourced, checked and moved quickly when the scope changes.

A compliant workforce network ready for short notice mobilisation.

Capability proven on site, not on paper

Ironlink operates within the industry, present on mine sites, shutdowns and maintenance projects alongside the trades we supply. This gives us first-hand insight into each tradesperson's technical strengths and performance, allowing us to match proven capability to the specific demands of your operation.

Our advantage is first hand site knowledge. We know which trades perform well under pressure, who is reliable and where their strengths sit.

The Ironlink Difference

Most agencies recruit off a CV
We recruit from site knowledge

We recruit from site knowledge

Site knowledge before resumes

Traditional labour hire often starts and ends with a resume. Ironlink is different. Our network is built through real industry relationships, mine site exposure and direct understanding of how trades perform on shutdowns, maintenance crews and project work.

We work close to the industry and understand the people behind the resumes.

Typical agency approach

  • Screens from a resume and a phone call
  • Has limited knowledge of how the person performs on the tools
  • Matches keywords instead of proven capability
  • Misses strengths that never appear on a CV

The Ironlink approach

  • We stay close to the trades we place
  • We look for work ethic, reliability and the right attitude for site
  • We understand their strengths across pumps, gearboxes, rotating equipment, shutdowns and structural work
  • We match proven ability to scope, not keywords to a database

What that means in practice

For clients

You get people whose strengths align with the work. If the scope needs a fitter strong on rotating equipment, a boilermaker proven on chute repairs or a rigger comfortable with critical lifts, we shortlist accordingly.

For tradespeople

You get considered for work that fits your real experience, availability and career direction. The aim is the right role, not just the next available vacancy.

Our edge is practical industry knowledge. It helps us recognise capable people that database recruitment often misses, and connect them with work where they can perform.

What Clients Tell Us

The standards clients care about

When clients bring labour hire onto site, the expectations are clear: safe people, verified skills, reliable attendance and the right attitude from the first shift.

The standards clients care about

Site standards that matter

Site ready personnel

Personnel are prepared for the site environment, with tickets and requirements checked before mobilisation so day one does not become a paperwork exercise.

Ticketed, checked and ready for day one

Verified trade qualifications

Trade certificates, licences and high risk work tickets are checked before placement. If a competency cannot be confirmed, the worker is not presented.

Every ticket checked before placement, no shortcuts

Safety minded personnel

The people we put forward understand that safety is part of the job, not a slogan. We look for workers who respect procedures, communicate clearly and do not cut corners.

People who treat safety as part of the work

Rapid response capability

Short lead times are common in mining. We keep candidates engaged and documentation moving so urgent gaps can be filled without losing control of compliance.

A ready network for short notice labour gaps

Scalable to project demand

From one trade for a short maintenance window to a larger shutdown crew, we build supply around your scope, roster and timeline.

From one trade to a shutdown crew, scaled to scope

Shutdown support from planning to demob

Shutdown labour needs to be planned, moved and managed properly. We support crew numbers, mobilisation timing, compliance checks and changes in scope through to demobilisation.

From crew planning to demobilisation

We search our existing network first, then widen the search when the scope requires a specific profile.

3

Verify compliance

Tickets, medicals, inductions and clearances are checked before mobilisation where required.

4

Mobilise to site

Briefed, organised and ready to integrate with your crew from the first shift.

5

Ongoing support

Payroll, compliance follow up and performance communication remain managed while the work is underway.

Ironlink Workforce wasn't created in a boardroom

Ironlink Workforce wasn't created in a boardroom

It was built on site, where the cost of the wrong hire is felt every day

Our story began while working together on a major project in Australia's Northern Territory. One of us had built a career as a Mechanical Fitter across Western Australia's mining industry. The other brought years of experience as a tunnel mechanic on major infrastructure projects throughout Europe.

Although our careers started on opposite sides of the world, we quickly realised we shared the same values and the same frustrations.

Throughout the project, we watched workers being removed from site because they simply weren't capable of performing the job they had been recruited to do. Every incorrect placement slowed productivity, placed additional pressure on experienced crews and damaged the client's confidence in the recruitment process.

At the same time, we met highly skilled tradespeople who had accepted roles based on one job description, only to arrive on site and discover they were expected to do something completely different. Their experience wasn't being recognised, their strengths weren't being utilised, and both the worker and the client paid the price.

After long shifts in extreme heat, demanding shutdowns and high pressure environments, one thing became obvious.

The last thing a supervisor needs is uncertainty about the people arriving on site.

That's when we made ourselves a promise. If we ever built a recruitment company, it would be founded on honesty, technical understanding and accountability. We would only represent people whose skills we genuinely believed in, and we would work just as hard to understand our clients' operational needs as we do our candidates' capabilities.

Today, Ironlink Workforce exists to bridge that gap. We help mining and industrial businesses build stronger teams by supplying trade qualified, site ready professionals whose experience matches the job they're hired to perform.

Because when the right people are matched with the right role, everyone benefits.

Projects run more efficiently

Workers feel valued

Clients gain confidence

And that's exactly the standard we set for every placement we make.
